Comparing number of gas stations to number of charging stations is a nonsensical comparison. DC charging stations are only used for long distance trips. For daily charging, you should just charge as home or office. There is no need for charging stations the way we have gas stations. I suspect that when all is said and done, we will dramatically overbuild the charging network because too many people are doing this false comparison of charging to gas filling.
